Choose your room

The Choose Your Room service is available at our UK country houses, allowing you the option of choosing and confirming a specific room for an extra charge of £30 per room. Supplements to upgrade to Premium or Superior guest rooms still apply. The choice of room number must be of the same room type as originally booked and is subject to availability.

Accommodation standards

Our UK country houses are inspected annually by VisitEngland, VisitWales, and VisitScotland. Their assessment determines the star rating of our facilities and services and includes the quality of welcome, hospitality, food, and cleanliness. The stars reflect the facilities and overall quality of the experience. These organisations have classified our houses as guest accommodation, meaning that they have more of a homely atmosphere and a less structured service than a traditional hotel.
